Career
As a professional, Mourinho Félix played during sixteen seasons, making his Primeira Liga debuts in 1958-1959 with Vitória de Setúbal. Mourinho Félix started coaching on a full basis in 1976 (he had worked as an assistant with Belenenses while still an active player). His first spell in the top level was in the 1980-1981 season with Amora Football Club, which he had led to promotion (as champions) the previous year.
Félix"s only full season in the main category was 1983-1984, leading Rio Avenue to the ninth place and the final of the domestic cup.
