Career

He pitched from 1969 to 1972 for the Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Dodgers. After leaving the major leagues, he pitched in Mexico through 1984 and then became a manager in the Mexican league. "Peluche" Peña currently resides in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico, where he serves as a consultant and scout Cañeros Baseball Club of Los Mochis, a team that participates in the Mexican Pacific Winter League.
