Appointed judge Criminal Superior Court of Chinandega, 1912. Appointed same year secretary to executive representative for Western Departments of Nicaragua and made colonel National Army. Appointed governor and commander in chief of Army of Chinandega, after revolution of 1912.

Member National Congress, 1913-1915.

The American Association Foreign Justice Court of Appeals for Western Division 1917. Consul general of Nicaragua, at Hamburg, Germany, 1918-1920.

Again governor and commander in chief Secretary and charge d’affaires Nicaraguan Legation to the United States since 1924.
