Career
Member of Legislative Assembly for Klip River Division. since 1901. Mayor of Ladysmith and President of the Towm Guard during the siege (despatches). Re-elected, August 1900 and 1901.
Welcomed General Buller on his entrance, and presented address from Burgesses, 1900.
Presented address to Lord Roberts on his visit to the town. Adr dress: Stewart Park, Ladysmith, Natal. Late Town Councillor, Ladysmith.
