Graduate Robbins Preparatory School, Norfolk, Connecticut, 1896. Studied classics and history under private tutors.

Career

Began newspaper writing in boyhood. Associate editor Berkshire Evening and Weekly Eagle, since 1898, contributing daily column of verse, pleasantry and philosophy, under title of The Note Book. Contributor articles to New York Sun, et cetera

Wrote for Government signed editorials, dealing with thrift stamps, during war period.
