16 ballets including Alice in Wonderland, Les Femmes d’Alger, Mission Carter Wore Pink, Concerto for Dancers; The Dumb Wife, Gentlemen’s Island (one-act operas); concertos for violin, trumpet, jazz harpsichord, clarinet, bassoon, percussion, tuba; other orchestral works include Horizon Overture, Jubilee Serenade, Sinfonietta for Light Orchestra, Fantasia on a Theme of Couperin, Toy Symphony; brass band music includes a euphonium concerto, Sinfonietta, Ballet for Band, Concertino Classico, The Dong with a Luminous Nose; music for wind band includes a divertimento, Bacchus on Blue Ridge, a transcription of Bach’s Fantasia and Fugue in G minor and Ad Astra in commemoration of the Battle of Britain; choral music includes Samson, Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo (Ivor NovelloDirector Bristol Old Vic 1949-1951.
