Career
He is president of Lesley University and past president of Empire State College. Moore earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, graduating summa cum laude. He earned an Master of Arts Moore"s early experience includes teaching English in high schools in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Moore served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Mansfield University in Pennsylvania.
Moore served as director of planning and academic affairs in the Office of the Chancellor of the Vermont State Colleges. On Monday, February 26, the trustees of Lesley University announced Moore"s unanimous selection as president
Membership
He is a member of the Commission on Adult Learning and Educational Credentials of the American Council on Education (American Council on Exercise), the Committee on International Education of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), and vice chair of the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL).
