Joseph Federico of NJ began his career in electronic component testing in the 1970s. His education started at the Metropolitan Technical Institute where he completed his associate’s degree. He then entered Fairleigh Dickinson University where he completed his bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering technology.
Joseph Federico is the Vice-President and Director of Operations at NJ Micro Electronic Testing, Inc. He developed the Mission: Imposter testing system which has helped in the development of most counterfeit detection requirements in the electronics industry today. This regimen of physical, electronic, metallurgical, and chemical tests helps ensure the authenticity of various electronic components. He has received invitations to speak in China, Taiwan Japan, South Korea, Israel, Russia, and Europe.
Joseph Federico has helped organize many charitable events through NJ Micro Electronic Testing, Inc., but he also participates in many charitable causes in his personal time. He regularly enters charitable walk-a-thons throughout New Jersey and donates to the March of Dimes, the St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Joseph Federico is Director of Operations at NJ MET Inc, a Clifton, NJ electronic testing laboratory overseeing the engineering, quality, administration and production staff. Joseph writes and also speaks at various conferences on the subjects related to testing of electronic components and risk mitigation in determining the authenticity of the parts.
