Joseph O'Neill

Background

He was born in Hendon, North London and began his musical education in Buckinghamshire.

Education

He graduated from university in 2009, as a B.A. (Hons) in Music Composition with Professional Practice.

Career

During his time at university, he developed many and various composition styles and techniques, including Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern, popular music and Jazz. Between the years of 2006 to 2009, he sang tenor in St. Michael’s Singers, based at Coventry Cathedral, a choral society which has a number of large- and small-scale performances each year. Including radio and television appearances, and was featured on the New Hymnmakers recordings.

Joseph now lives in Brighton and is working as a composer and musician in the South East of England. He can be followed on Twitter joeoneillmusic.

Achievements

• He then moved to Bedfordshire, where he achieved his Grade 8 in piano in 2006, before he began to study Music Composition at Coventry University.
