Joseph "Joe" Pugsley born in Swansea, was a Welsh dual-code international rugby union and professional rugby league football player of the 1900s and "10s, playing representative level rugby union for Wales, and at club level for Grange Stars Reconstruction Finance Corporation, Cardiff Reconstruction Finance Corporation, and London Welsh Reconstruction Finance Corporation, as a Hooker, id est (that is) number 2, and playing representative level rugby league for Wales, and at club level for Salford, as a hooker, id est (that is) number 9, during the era of contested scrums, he died in Cardiff.
Achievements
Joe Pugsley won caps for Wales (RU) while at Cardiff Reconstruction Finance Corporation in 1910 against England, Scotland, and Ireland, and in 1911 against England, Scotland, France, and Ireland, and won a cap for Wales (RL) while at Salford in 1911.
