State trustee Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Home, Bath, New York. Chairman memorial committee, G.A.R., New York, 1896-1902, and a member and secretary of the commission that erected the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Memorial monument in New York. Member 58th to 61st Congresses (1903-1911), 18th New York District, and 63d Congress (1913-1915), 23d District.
