Clerk with Alfred Peats Company, Boston, Massachusetts, 1910-1912 and 1914-1917. In mercantile business, Portland, Maine, 1912-1914. President Wall-Goodbar Company, Boston.

1917-1926; admitted to Massachusetts bar, 1930, Illinois, 1932, New York, 1937, Maine, 1948. Practiced law in Chicago, 1931-1932. Legal practice and research in money, banking and economics, Boston and New York City, 1933-1946.

Lecturer at Boston University School of Law. Head department.of business administration University of Tampa since 1949. Lectured in Berlin, Munich and Budapest, 1938, on money and banking.

Testified before House and Senate Coms. on banking measures, 1937, 1938, before Ways and Means Committee on taxation, 1942. Special consultant, unites states department Commerce, 1942. Advisor Endicott College.

Counsel Made in America Foundation. Director and vice president Phi Beta Kappa Associates, 1940-1944. Director, Cavalcade of Maine Youth, 1946.
