Founder, vice president & treas, Torbensen Gear & Axle Company, Newark, New Jersey, 1911, later the Torbensen Axle Company, Cleveland, president, 1916-1919. Organized, Eaton Axle Company, Cleveland, 1919, president, 1919-1923, merged, 1920, with Standard Parts Company, of which was president and general manager.
