Growing up in London, he used music to distance himself from the influences of gang culture and a life a crime common among inner city youths. He began to take his music more seriously whilst attending high school, which lead to him performing alongside the likes of Donae"o and Ghetts at The O2"s Indigo2 for Lyrical Xpressions 2008 in front of over 1500 people.
