Served in France and Germany, 1919, P.I., 1925-1927, China, 1931-1933, European Theatre of Operations (England), 1943, France-Germany, 1945.

Commanding general, airborne center, Camp Mackail, North Carolina, since 1944, qualified parachutist since 1945. Deputy commander American Sector, Berlin, 1945-1946. Post commander, Munich, 1946-1947.

Supervisor Organized R.C., New York, since 1948.
