Career
She came in behind Maria Itkina of the Soviet Union, and ahead of Tilly van der Made of the Netherlands. She also represented Great Britain in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, and was one of the favourites, but a hamstring injury hampered her chances and she only reached the semi-final.
