Both authors wrote a prekmurian hymnal, which did not survive. Konkolics was born in Mali Dolenci (today Dolenci, Prekmurje) in the Kingdom of Hungary, the son of Ádám Konkolics peasant and Mária Nemes. He died and buried in Šalovci.
