Nagy, József was born on March 12, 1938 in Ecséd, Hungary. Son of Mihály and Rozália (Buborék) Nagy.

Education

Certified agricultural engineer, University Horticulture, Budapest, 1961. Doctor Horticulture, University Horticulture, 1965. Candidate in Agricultural Studies, Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Arts, 1982.

Career

Junior member Horticultural Research Institute, Budapest, 1961-1968, research worker, 1968-1971. Assistant professor U Szent Istváv Faculty Horticultural, 1971-1980, associate professor, since 1980.
