Career
He received his Bachelor of Arts in English and creative writing from Binghamton University in 1988. His Master of Arts in English and American Literature from Louis in 1989. And his Doctor of Philosophy in English and American Literature from Washington in 1994.
Bennett is the editor of the journal Transformations and the author of a number of literary articles and short stories, as well as the book The Passing Figure: Racial Confusion in Modern American Literature (1996).
