Cox, Judith Hild was born on July 17, 1938 in Owensboro, Kentucky, United States. Daughter of Edward F. and Dorothy (Baird) Hild.


Bachelor, Kentucky Wesleyan College, 1964. Master of Education, University Southwestern Louisiana, 1971. Postgraduate, University Southwestern Louisiana, since 1971.


Business teacher, Daviess County High School, Owensboro, 1964-1965; physical education and health teacher, Northside High School, Lafayette, Louisiana, 1965-1978; dean of students, Northside High School, Lafayette, Louisiana, 1974-1977; assistant principal, Paul Breaux Middle School, Lafayette, 1978; assistant principal, Acadiana High School, Lafayette, 1978-1986; principal, Acadiana High School, Lafayette, since 1986. Owner Just Tennis, Lafayette, 1972-1979.


There is a large range of issues where Church should interact with politics in such areas as poverty and inequality, environmental issues, nuclear and chemical weapons and the harm caused by use of drugs and drinking.


All Christians need to be familiar with the Bible, that contains a wide variety of literature, including history, law, poetry, gospels, letters, polemic, stories and apocalyptic visions, and try to immerse themselves in it.
