Jukuemon III was born in 1875.

Career

First played male roles and later female roles also. Was well re­ceived when he went to Tokyo and played at the Harukiza theater. He later fre­quently visited the capital, where he was acclaimed as a female impersonator. As­sumed the name of Jakuemon in 1917.
