Career
She appeared in 228 films between 1908 to 1933. Born in Columbus, Ohio, she starred in the first film version of the Lady Godiva legend in 1911. A veteran of numerous silent film appearances, she may be best remembered today as Richard Arlen"s mother in where she gives a tearful and emotional goodbye to Arlen as he leaves for combat flight training in France packing him off with his favorite childhood toy.
She died in Los Angeles, California.
