Together they had four children: Carlos, Julio, Paulina and Rosina. He developed several commercial activities, owning a hardware store, a haberdashery and grocery store and a tannery. He was one of the directors of Curitiba Immigration Society.
He died in Curitiba, on August 28, 1895.
