Junsuke Akura, Japanese ophthalmologist, researcher. Achievements include development of new surgical methods of astigmatic keratotomy (FDAK); development of manual small incision cataract surgery (claw-vectis technique, quarter extraction); development of pterygium surgery (mini-flap technique); development of glaucoma surgery (Uveal shunt).
