Juni near Berlin"s Brandenburg Gate, a spot where hundreds of thousands of fans watched the matches on giant screens during the month-long tournament. He shot himself hours after the World Cup Final and died in hospital two days later.
According to police, he left suicide notes indicating a personal, not a political, motive.
