Justin Willman Chambers is an American actor and former fashion model best known for playing Dr. Alex Karev on ABC's medical drama Grey's Anatomy from 2005 to 2020. Justin Willman Chambers was born on July 11, 1970, in Springfield, Ohio. He was raised in Ohio in a family of five children and has a fraternal twin brother, Jason, as well as an older brother and two older sisters. Before establishing himself as an actor, Chambers was discovered by a modeling scout in the Paris Metro and worked internationally in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, and Dolce & Gabbana.
