Nixon, Justin Wroe was born on February 23, 1886 in Delphi, Indiana, United States. Son of Harmon Ausburn and Eva Arminta (Wroe) Nixon.

Post-graduate University of Chicago, Columbia. Doctor of Divinity, College Ozarks and Denison U., 1925, Miami University, 1931, Oberlin College, 1937.


Ordained to Baptist ministry, 1909. Associate pastor Calvary Church, Minneapolis, 1908-1909. Pastor Judson Memorial Church, Minneapolis, 1909-1916.
