Jusuke Takarada became the leading writer of his time (1832), after the demise of Jurai Takarada (1832).
Jusuke Takarada was born in 1797 in Edo (now Tokyo, Japan).
He was originally the proprietor of a pawnshop by the name of Hosaku Matsui. Became a playwright of kabuki dramas through the encouragement of Kozo Matsui II. Most of his plays were written for Kikugoro Onoe III.
