He played college football at Louisiana State University.
On May 10, 2014, Boone signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent. He was released on August 23, 2014, and was then signed to the Saint Louis Rams practice squad on October 21. The Rams cut Boone on October 29, and the Indianapolis Colts signed him to their practice squad on December 31, 2014.
