Kadyr Zakirovich ZAKIROV


Kadyr ZAKIROV, USSR Botanist. Full member, since 1956, President since 1957, Uzbek Academy, of Agriculture Science; Honoured Worker of Science of Uzbekistan Soviet Socialist Republic since 1956. Member, Communist Party, since 1951.


ZAKIROV, Kadyr was born in 1906.


1933 graduated Uzbek Pedagogical Academy, Samarkand.


1937-1941; at Uzbek University, Samarkand. 1941-1943 at Central Asian University, Tashkent. 1952-1956 Director, Institute of Botanies, Uzbek Academy of Sciences.

1956-1957 Rector, Uzbek University. Main works deal with geographical, biology and taxonomy of plants. Studied flora of Zeravshan River.

Established theoretical basis of division of Central Asia into zones and belts.


Since religion offers a complete set of answers to the problems of purpose, morality, origins, or science, it discourages exploration of those areas by suppressing curiosity, denies its followers a broader perspective, and prevents social, moral and scientific progress.


Member, Communist Party, since 1951.


Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
