Career
Kajiro Kozono began wrestling at the age of 18 and was considered the strongest wrestler in Kyushu. When Uragoro Takasago organized the Tokyo Sumo Kyokai (Wrestlers' Association) he was invited to join it (1881). Was the 13th Grand Champion (1890) and retired from the ring (1896).
