Kalidas Mitra was born on December 22, 1899 in Chinsurah, West Bengal, India.

Education

Kalidas Mitra studied at Calcutta University in India and graduated from it with a degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1925 and Doctor of Public Health in 1931. In 1956, he got a diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.

Career

Kalidas Mitra worked as Nutrition Adviser, Government of India. Later he got the position of Director of Jagadis Pose National Science Talent Search in Calcutta. He delegated various International Scientific Conferences. Kalidas Mitra wrote about 40 articles and research papers. Also Editor, Science & Culture.
