Curator UKMB Herbarium, Bangi, Malaysia, 1982—2003. Associate professor Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, since 1995. Chairman, research committee Rafflesia Conservation Steering Board, Sabah State Governor, Malaysia, 1988—1989.
