Career
Kamekichi Tanabe established and became president of Ilashidate Shipyard (1942) and later reorganized and renamed it Hashidate Shipbuilding Company, continuing as president (1944).
He served as president of Miyazu Municipal Assembly (Kyoto Prefecture), president of Miyazu City Chamber of Commerce & Industry and official of many other local industrial companies and organizations.
