Career
A prominent socialist, Taguchi first worked at the Ashio Mine in 1907, then proceeded to Tokyo to organize a labor union. In 1923 he was elected chairman of the Kanto District Chapter of Japanese Federation of Labor.

A born leader and thoroughly sincere he was a veteran fighter for the cause of labor.
