Career
After graduating from Tokyo University went into the service of Dai-Nihon Nakoso Mining Company.
As a politician has been elected to the House of Representatives twice (1946 and 1953) with the support of labor unions. He has been vice chairman of Japan Miners Union, and a committee member of Fukushima Local Labor Council. He was a managing director of Fukushima Labor Bank.
