Kantaro Kishimoto became director of the Manchurian Heavy Industry Development Company (1941). He appointed managing director of the Nissan Company (1942) and director of the Nissan Heavy Industry Company (1944). Appointed director of the Tokyo Gas and Electric Industry Company (1952), and assumed the above post (1955). Kantaro Kishimoto served as private secretary to the industrialist, Yoshisuke Ayukawa, during the early years of his business career.
