Kanwal is now a successful entrepreneur and a Social Activist. She went on to do a Masters in Industrial psychology. After completing her masters she worked for investment Banks such as Deutsche Bank & Cr Suisse.
She lives in London with her family.
Kanwal started her career in modelling and has worked for various brands, such as Vogue, Pepsi, Mercedes-Benz, LG, Gillette, and Yamaha. She has acted in serials on major channels in India and has also appeared in music videos.
She hosted the show Filmi Fever, which aired on Zoom television And also hosted the show out & about on Zee television (Europe). She made her film debut through the critically appraised Bollywood film Cheeni Kum, co-starring alongside Amitabh Bacchan and Tabu.
