He did his high schooling from Government
School, New Delhi, Did his graduation Political Honors from Delhi University and Masters in Punjabi language from Delhi University. Kaptan Laadi had been involved in cultural activities since then and slowly interest in Singing gave birth to professionalism.

The main recording of Kaptan Laadi started with the his first Album "Charkha Patlo Da". Which was enhanced by the Mika Singh himself with his music This versatile Artist launched by Tips Industries Limited.

The Album contained Eight songs in which "Charkha Patlo Da" and "Sandhoori Pugg" was picturised. That Album gave him a decent stage till he never thought back.
As of late his "Don of Bhangra" additionally got to be hot vender and turned into the diagram topper just after its release.That Album provided for him the title behind his name "Don of Bhangra". In this album, his accompanied the blast with two super stars of the Bollywood in his title tune "Nachdi Vekhna" Apache Indian and Actress "Neeru Bajwa" and International Star Alicia Banton.
