Career
She was born on the island of Saint Kitts, but she moved to Saint Thomas in 2006, and attended the Charlotte Amalie High School for three years. DeCosta was to represent the American Virgin Islands at the 2009 Mission World pageant in Johannesburg, South Africa on 12 December 2009. She died on June 8, 2009, on the evening of her high school graduation, in a car crash in Saint Thomas.
