He is the Chief Designer of the Bayerische Motoren Werke marque, succeeding Adrian van Hooydonk in 2012. Habib moved to Canada in his early years and was educated at McGill University. He also went to the Art Centre College for Design in Switzerland,
He got his first break in Bayerische Motoren Werke in 1998 working in the designing of exterior of the Bayerische Motoren Werke 7 series.
He left to work for Mercedes in 2009 for a few years and came back to Bayerische Motoren Werke in 2011 as exterior designer.
