Karin Housley

Housley was born and raised in South Saint Paul, Minnesota. She attended Augsburg College and later transferred to the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, graduating in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies. Housley ran unsuccessfully for election to the in 2010, losing to DFL incumbent Katie Sieben.
She ran again and was elected in 2012.
Membership
A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota, she represents District 39 in the eastern Twin Cities metropolitan area.
