Career
By winning the national title Mission Switzerland in 1988, she earned the right to represent her country in most of the major beauty pageants within the upcoming year. She competed in the Mission World 1988 pageant in London, United Kingdom and the Mission Universe 1989 pageant in Cancún, Mexico. In the Mission Globe International pageant, she edged out Venezuelan Eva Lisa Ljung, a semi-finalist at Mission Universe 1989, for the title, despite the fact that she was preceded and succeeded by delegates of Venezuela.
