Career

Born in Warwickshire, Robinson obtained a 1st class Bachelor (Honours) in Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art in 1989, completing her Phd at University of Glasgow in 2002. Amongst her awards are the Guardian/Modern Painters prize for Writing on Art in 2004. In 2011 her sculpture, Woman Manitoba Sun Moon was unveiled next to the M8 motorway in South Lanarkshire.

Achievements

• Her commissions include statues of Jimmy Johnstone and the founder of Celtic football club, Brother Walfrid at Celtic Park, Glasgow.
