Born in Graz, Styria, Bellowitsch trained as a primary school teacher before becoming, in 1996, a presenter at a commercial radio station in Styria (Antenne Steiermark). She co-hosts in both of them with Thomas Brezina. In February 2010, she was a presenter at the Vienna Opera Balliol In 2011 to present, upon Austria"s return to the Eurovision Song Contest, she has announced the points given to other countries from Austria during the voting phase of the evening. Many commentators have said that Bellowitsch has similarities with Céline Dion or Jennifer Aniston. After Austria"s victory, she was considered a favorite to host the show. She was not chosen but will continue her role as the spokesperson.
