Feldstein has been President for Economics Studies, Inc. since 1987. She was a corporation member at Sherrill House from 1990. In 1993, Kathleen was appointed a director of Conrail, Inc. Also she held the position of a corporation member at Partners HealthCare from 1995. Then in 1998, Feldstein became a director at Knight-Ridder, Inc. and at AT&T Southeast.
In addition, she served as a director and member of Audit Committee at BellSouth, LLC from 1998 to 2006. Kathleen has been a member of the Advisory Board to International School of Business at Brandeis University since 2002. In 2006, she took a position of a director at the McClatchy Company, where she worked until 2016. Since 2007 Feldstein has been working as a trustee of BlackRock Corporate High Yield Fund III, Inc. From 2009 she was a director of Catholic Charities of Boston. Nowadays Kathleen has served as a trustee for the Catholic Charities of Boston and an honorary trustee and of the McLean Hospital. At the Museum of Fine Arts, she held several positions on the board including treasurer and chairman of several visiting committees, as well as serving on the Individual Gifts and Planned Giving committees. Kathleen is an honorary trustee at the Museum of Fine Arts.
Feldstein was a member of the visiting committee of Harvard Art Museums.
Feldstein is a collector, having a particular interest in seventeenth-century Dutch landscapes.
On June 19, 1965 Kathleen Feldstein married Martin Feldstein. They have two children.
