Appeared in Suor Angelica, La Scala, Milan, 1976, La Boheme, Metropolitan Opera Company, New York City, 1975. Other roles include Donizetti's Caterina Cornaro, Maria de Rohan and Lucrezia Borgia, and Bellini's Imogene, Elisabeth de Valois in Don Carlos, Covent Garden, 1989.

      Numerous appearances in major opera houses throughout United States and Europe including San Francisco Opera, Paris Opera, Verona Festival. Leading roles in Anna Bolena. Recordings include I Due Foscari, Turandot, Carmen, Aida, Un Ballo in Maschera, Falstaff, Il Trovatore, La Boheme, Tosca, Pavarotti and Ricciarelli Live, Duetti d'Amore with Jose Carreras.

      Also appears as Desdemona in Franco Zeffirelli's video Otello.
