Katrin Wehrheim

Her research centers around symplectic topology and gauge theory. She is well known for her work on pseudoholomorphic quilts. In 2012 she became a fellow of the American Mathematical Society.
After attending school in Hamburg and studying at the University of Hamburg until 1995 and Imperial College until 1996, Wehrheim completed her Doctor of Philosophy at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich in 2002.
