Katsuhiko Shiraishi graduated from Commercial Department of Waseda University (1918).
Katsuhiko Shiraishi served first with Aichi Bank and then became managing director (1931) and then director and vice president (1937) of Toyo Warehouse Company. Appointed trustee of Waseda University (1937), chairman of Nagoya Branch of Nihon Soko Tosei Kaisha (Japan Warehouse Control Company) (1944), manager of Local Railway Transportation Council of Nagoya Railway Bureau (1946) and auditor of Aichi Spinning Company (1947) and thereafter became president of Toyo Soko Kaisha (Toyo Warehouse Company) (1949).
Served also as shain sodai (representative employee) of Tokyo and Kokumin Insurance companies, chairman of Tokai Warehouse Company, director and chairman of Nihon Konetsu Kogyo Kaisha (Japan High Temperature Industry Company), director of Nagoya Chamber of Commerce & Industry and president of Nagoya Heavy Industries Company and Nagoya Kigyo Kaisha (Nagoya Enterprise Company) and official of a few other industrial companies and associations.
