Career
Katsuichi elected three times to Shimonoseki Municipal Assembly and served as its vice-chairman. In 1947 elected to House of Representatives and became a counselor of Yamaguchi Prefectural League of Liberal Party. Was a president of Nichiman Shokuhin Kogyo Kaisha (Foodstuff Manufacturing Industry Company).
